MORE ABOUT THE EPISODE...
Josh sits down with Forsake co-founder Sam Barstow. Forsake makes all-weather, sneaker/boot, hybrid footwear designed for any adventure. After Barstow and his co-founder Jake Anderson took a couple of months during school to move out west for the winter, they came to find a trend of fellow ski/snowboard fanatics walking around in skate shoes and sneakers; admittedly no the best footwear option for trouncing around through snow covered sidewalks (and often doubling up on socks to). The reason for the lake of winter wear oddly enough was lack of brands they could identify with, and after returning back east and reconvening, it wasn’t long until they buckled down to get cracking at what would soon turn into the footwear powerhouse we know as Forsake.
